Message for Meeting and Event Planners

Keynote Speakers are often chosen by Meeting Planners for Sales Meetings and Sales Training

“You were a meeting planner’s dream speaker.”
VP, Meetings and Conventions
(LOMA) Life Office Management Office Association

Dear Meeting Planner:

Your professional reputation as a meeting planner rests on the keynote or breakout speakers you select for your event. I will do whatever is necessary to make sure you and your organization look great and receive outstanding feedback.

You are pulled in a million different directions before, during, and after the event so I want my program to be the best and the smoothest part of your session. That’s why I am always on time for microphone checks and to make sure my introducer is comfortable and prepared.

As your speaker, I understand I am an ambassador for your organization – on and off stage. I will meet with anyone and attend any functions or sessions you suggest. I will attend your trade show, introduce myself to your vendors, and personally thank my sponsors.

I have filled in for other speakers, done book signings, served on panels, presented awards, helped executives tweak their presentations, judged trade show exhibits, and helped rearrange rooms.

In short, once I am on site, I am your resource and I will participate and help wherever you need me.

Your event partner,

Mike Hourigan, CSP

“Thanks for your incredible flexibility, especially over the holiday
period. Your excellent follow up to our many inquiries and requests
certainly made my job much easier. You ROCK!”
